EDI files over SFTP, through Radial

ShopHQ EDI and Sellercloud, connected

ShopHQ's drop ship orders come through Radial's VendorNet as X12 850 files over SFTP. Each becomes a Sellercloud order. When it ships, the ship notice and invoice go back with Radial's ship-method codes, and stock goes out on a schedule.

What is taken care of

  • Map each Sellercloud carrier and service to Radial's code once; a shipment waiting for a code says so on the order page.
  • Packing slips in ShopHQ's style, or your own design, attached to each Sellercloud order.

What to have ready

  • Radial VendorNet SFTP server, username and password
  • Your ISA ID and qualifier (ShopHQ's receiver ID is SHOPHQVN, qualifier ZZ)
  • Radial's ship-method codes, if they gave you a list (otherwise the 850's own code is echoed)
  • Your Sellercloud login, and the company and warehouse orders should go to

Going live, one safe step at a time

  1. 1

    Connect a partner

Pick the partner, add their SFTP or API details and your Sellercloud login. Each step lists what to have ready.

  2. 2

Test it on a real order

Every connection starts paused. A test run reads a real purchase order and shows it to you. Nothing is created and nothing is sent.

  3. 3

    Switch it on

Turn on creating orders in Sellercloud, then sending to the partner, then go live. From then on it runs by itself, on the schedule you set.

Do I need a VAN?

No. Radial's VendorNet exchanges files over SFTP, which is how this connects.

Can I test it before anything is sent?

Yes. Every connection starts paused. A test run reads a real order and shows it to you; nothing is created in Sellercloud and nothing is sent until you switch each part on.
